West Valley Hospital Appoints New Chief Nursing Officer

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: 

Deborah Carver, MBA, BSN was recently appointed Chief Nursing Officer of West Valley Hospital in Goodyear, Arizona. Carver comes to West Valley Hospital from CorSolutions, Inc. where she served as regional director of operations and was responsible for disease management services provided to members through contracted health plans, employer groups and government contracts.  She has served as chief nursing officer for other facilities and has over 15 years experience in various administrative roles. 

As chief nursing officer of West Valley Hospital, a 106-bed acute care community hospital, Carver will have administrative direction over the emergency department, surgical services, critical care, medical- surgical, women’s services and cardiovascular service lines.

Throughout her career, she has overseen multiple health care areas including nursing.  She has successfully developed and implemented clinical programs to decrease hospitalization for patients at high risk for readmission, significantly improving overall quality of life while improving the fiscal opportunities to the organization.

Carver has a Masters of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Phoenix and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Phoenix College.
