Controller

This position has primary responsibility for the planning, administration, direction, coordination and supervision of the hospital's Finance and Accounting functions. Implements and maintains controls to adequately safeguard hospital assets. Manages processes and staff in the accurate and timely preparation of external and internal financial reports. Bachelors' Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent minimum experience requirements: Must have at least five years experience in a hospital setting in a financial management position with three years of supervisory experience. Applicants must have complete understanding of Hospital accounting processes and knowledge of third party reimbursement. Experience in preparation of financial statements and budgets, financial analysis, physical inventories, internal controls, business office, materials management, admitting and other hospital departments are preferred.
