West Valley Hospital Provided Free Prostate Screenings to West Valley Residents

West Valley Hospital provided free prostate screenings to community area men this past month in order to raise awareness of National Prostate Cancer Awareness month. Physicians of Valley Urologic Associates, P.C. which includes Shawn D. Blick, M.D., Pankai Jain, M.D., Jonathon Agins, M.D. and Vi N. Hua, M.D. offered the screening to participants who meet the eligibility requirements.
Eligible participants were men ages 50 or older; African-American males, 45 years-old, or older; and Men ages 45 or older with a brother or father who has had prostate cancer. The screening included a prostate specific antigen (PSA) blood test and a rectal exam.
