West Valley Hospital celebrates its third year of caring for the southwest Valley this month. The hospital recently held Employee Town Halls which featured Jim Resendez, CEO presenting the hospital’s history and the future of West Valley Hospital. Employees celebrated by watching a commemorative video on the growth and the changes the hospital has undergone.
“West Valley Hospital continues to grow to serve the needs of the community,” said Resendez. “It’s important to reflect on where we have been as a healthcare provider to the West Valley, and we’re we are going and how we are going to continue in providing excellent healthcare to the community.”
The hospital opened with three floors, 350 employees and 74 patient beds. It has now grown to five floors, 450 employees and 106 patient beds. Earlier this summer, the hospital embarked on another phase of construction expanding its cardiac services and intensive care unit.
