West Valley Hospital and City of Goodyear Partner for 2nd Annual Heart & Sole 5k Run Contact: Angela Ittu, 623-882-1502 (Goodyear, AZ) - West Valley Hospital presents Goodyear's second annual Heart & Sole 5k Run, Saturday, February 24 at 8 a.m. Running enthusiasts and families are invited to participate. There will be live music, interative booths and a one mile fun run. This event begins and ends at West Valley Hospital, 13677 W. McDowell, just east of Litchfield Road, in Goodyear. Runners may pick up registration forms at Runners Den, any Sportsman's Warehouse, the City of Goodyear Public Works Operations Building, 200 S. Calle del Pueblo and Goodyear City Hall, 190 N. Litchfield Road. The registration form can also be found on the Goodyear website, www.goodyearaz.gov/rec. The cost for early registration (February 9th) is $20 for the 5k Run and $15 for the One Mile Fun Run. Late registration is $25 for the 5k Run and $20 for the One Mile Fun Run. $1 from each registration will be donated to the American Heart Association. All participants will receive t-shirts, ribbons and finish-line refreshments. Trophies will be awarded to the top Male and Female overall winners of the 5k Run and medallions to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place age division winners of the 5k Run.
