Hospital appoints new Chief Executive Officer Contact: Larissa Spraker, 623-882-1502 Goodyear, AZ -- Jim Resendez has been appointed to Chief Executive Officer of West Valley Hospital in Goodyear, Arizona. Mr. Resendez is an established healthcare executive with experience in both acute care and outpatient services administration. He has most recently served as administrator for a group of three surgery centers located in Dallas and Plano, Texas and led the development, construction and eventual conversion of these facilities into a new general acute care surgical hospital.
Resendez also served as Chief Executive Officer of HealthSouth Medical Center, a Dallas based 106-bed acute care hospital generating $32 million in annual net revenues. Prior to this position, he served at the Executive Director of the Clinics of North Texas located in Wichita Falls, Texas. Mr. Resendez has a Master of Science degree in Health Care Administration from Trinity University, San Antonio, Texas and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Texas - San Antonio. |
