Vanguard Health Systems names Chief Executive Officer for new hospital in Goodyear

Arthur Doloresco has been named President and Chief Executive Officer of West Valley Hospital located in Goodyear, Arizona.
Most recently, Doloresco was the chief operating officer with Kessler Rehab Corporation in New Jersey. At Kessler he established a new outpatient division and integrated 49 outpatient clinics into the Kessler system.
He has an extensive background in multi-facility leadership, beginning with his association with Champion Healthcare Corporation as Regional Vice President, Columbia/HCA as President for their Kentucky Division, and President of the NewCare Hospital Division. At NewCare he directed the construction and managed the opening of a new hospital in Texas.
Doloresco obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, and a Masters in Health Administration from Medical College of Virginia, in Richmond, Virginia.
Doloresco leads the executive team for the West Valley Hospital, which includes Chief Financial Officer, John Domansky, Chief Clinical Officer, Cindy Taylor, R.N., and Chief Medical Officer, Fred Scott, M.D.
West Valley Hospital is a 74-bed, acute care facility in Goodyear, Arizona focused on bringing comprehensive healthcare services to the Southwest Valley and designed to provide services of greatest need to the community, from state-of-the-art obstetrics, to medical and surgical services, cardiology, intensive care and a full-service emergency department.
