First Steps Program

West Valley Hospital is committed to healthy Moms and healthy babies. The First Steps Program caters to everyone, especially those in need of pre-natal and medical resources who do not have insurance. The center provides free pregnancy tests and referral services to patients. Ultrasound and lab work packages are also available at a greatly reduced rate.

Family Assistance Program Resources:

• OB/GYN Referrals
• Low Cost Lab and Ultrasound Packages
• OB Package Plans (for those not eligible for AHCCCS)
• Baby Arizona (for pregnant women)
• Kids Care Applications (for children under 18 years old)
• AHCCCS (government and state funded programs available for those who qualify)

Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. English and Spanish assistance is available.

West Valley Hospital is located at 13677 W. McDowell Road, Goodyear, AZ 85395. The First Steps Program is located on the first floor of the hospital.
